Arsenal center back Gabriel Magalhães has expressed his delight on life at Arsenal and his experience at the club so far.
The 22-year-old Brazilian defender joined the club from French side Lille this summer for a fee of around €27m. He has enjoyed a blistering start to his Arsenal career so far putting in impressive performances in the colours of the North London club in the games he has played so far.
Gabriel expressed his delight on life at the club so far and has this to say “I’m very happy, it’s the best moment of my career so far. Everyone has welcomed me really well. I feel at home here already, so it’s a great feeling so far. “I spoke with [Nicolas] Pepe before I moved [to Arsenal]. I asked him how it was at the club & of course it had an influence in my decision. He was one of the reasons I made the decision to move to Arsenal.
The 22-year-old defender made his debut for the club on the opening day of the season in a 3-0 win over Fulham and also scored his first goal for the club on the same game. He has made a total of 4 appearances for Arsenal in the Premier league so far and won the man of match award on his debut against Fulham.
The hard tackling defender has given Arsenal leaky defence over the years a very big lift and improvement. The club has conceded just 6 goals in the league so far a statistics only bettered by Aston Villa’s defence which has conceded only two goals so far this season.
