Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has stated that the team is ready to fight to win there upcoming Afcon qualifiers double header against Sierra leone.

The former Leicester City star made this known in an interview ahead of the encounter and has this to say regarding the game.

We are going to do our best to win the game, we know if we win those two games we have already qualified to the AFCON so we are doing all our best to qualify. And to the fans we know what they need is just winning and God willing we are going to do that.”

The first leg of the game would take place on 13th November at Samuel Ogbemudia stadium Benin City while the second leg will be played four days later at Siaka Stephens stadium Freetown State Sierra Leone. The Super Eagles would secure their spot in the next year AFCON should they secure victories in both games with Sierra Leone and will be hoping to do so as soon as possible to ease pressure in the remaining fixtures of the qualifiers.

The Super Eagles will be boosted by the return of midfield duo Oghenekaro Etebo and Joe Aribo who both missed the last international games due to injuries, while defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi continues to be absent through injury as well.
