Argentine tennis player, Diego Schwartman has said that there’s a good relationship between him and Juan Martin del Potro, worried about his injury problems.
Recall that Martin del Potro bagged his maiden Grand Slam title in 2009 which was the U.S Open. He was not able to play more due to the injuries, which truncated his career.
Schwartman felt sorry about the 2009 U.S Open winner battling with injuries.
“We have a good relationship. We are friends from the tour. It’s sad that he has a lot of injuries. When I started to play better we didn’t share a lot of good tournaments. But the guy who really, really helped me my career, the former players who are (Mariano) Zabaleta and (Juan) Monaco, they are like my big brothers” Schwartman said.
“When I when I was 15, they started helping me, we did a lot of pre-seasons, practice, advice from them to me. So these two guys helped me a lot in my career.”
Diego Schwartman suffered a huge defeat in the hands of world number one, Novak Djokovic at the ATP tour finals.
