Chelsea Manager Frank Lampard has stated that he has French Striker Olivier Giroud in his plans, as he may not be sold in january.
The former Arsenal striker, has publicly complained about his playing time with the Blues, as he talks about moving away from the club, but Frank Lampard while speaking with Babatunde Ojora says he has plans to play the striker.
“I do have plans, Giroud is very important in our squad, he was a big member of the squad last year, I think he played a lot of games, he made a lot of starts last years. When you look at his Chelsea career I think he made a relative amount of starts, he (Giroud) will always want to play more, he will be important for us moving forward, so i want Giroud to stay in the club”
Frank Lampard still talking about the future of Olivier Giroud as a Chelsea player, said he had a good relationship with the French striker.
“I have a very good relationship with Giroud, but if he felt he wants to go a different way I would happily have that conversation with him, but I want him to stay here, but I will be very open both ways.”
