Former Super Eagles striker Osaze Odewingie has named his all time Premier League XI with five former Super Eagles players making the cut.
The former West Bromwich Albion forward’s XI has set tongues wagging as he put forward a list that had little household names.
It would have not been a surprise if he chose the likes of Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and co but he chose a list of those he virtually played with in his beautiful career.
The Uzbekistan born forward listed an all Nigerian attack as his choice of forwards. The trio of former Portsmouth winger John Utaka, former Everton and Middlesbrough forward Yakubu Aiyegbeni and ex Newscastle pacy striker Obafemi Martins made his front line.
The other two Nigerians who made the list are former Super Eagles and Bolton Wanderers skipper Austin Jay Jay Okocha and ex QPR left back Taiye Taiwo.
Despite having an illustrious career with Arsenal, Ozaze looked past Kanu Nwankwo as he opted for Yakubu to lead the line.
The former Stoke City goal poacher also included Asmir Bergovic, Robert Huth, Steven Nzonzi amongst others in his team.
