Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has described the home stadium of his parent club(Real Madrid) as the Mecca of football.
Cebbalos who has been on loan at Arsenal from Spanish giants Real Madrid since last season in a recent Interview addressed his future, saying he still hope to play for Real Madrid soon and described the Bernabeu stadium as the Mecca of football. In his words he has this,
“The Bernabeu is the Mecca of football. You can ask Mesut Ozil, who always spoke about Real Madrid as the best club in the world. Wearing that badge is the goal of 99% of footballers”
“Real Madrid is the owner of my future for the next 3 years & I am not the one who will decide. At least I’m not going to do it alone because it also depends on the coach & the president. But nobody refuses to play for Real Madrid”
The 23-year-old Spanish midfielder has been a key member of the Arsenal team since last season and he made his 50th appearance for Arsenal in all competitions in the Gunners victory over Norwegian side Molde in the UEFA Europa league clash last Thursday. He is set to feature agains today when Arsenal take on Wolverhampton today at the Emirates stadium.
