Nigerian International Stephen Odey scored the solitary goal in Amien’s 1-0 home win against Dunkerque in Tuesday’s Ligue 2 game.

The Les Licornes have endured a miserable run of results lately, failing to clinch maximum points in their last four games.

However, Stephen Odey inspired Oswald Tanchot’s men back to winning ways at Stade de la Licorne with his first-half strike.

Odey, who is on loan from Belgian giant, Genk, scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute. The Nigerian was then withdrawn with 20 minutes left on the clock as Amiens picked just their third win of the campaign to move out of the relegation zone.

The victory moved Amiens to the 13th spot in the league table with 15 points from 13 outings. They will take on Rodez in their next fixture.
