OJB Sports gives an account of Nigerian players in Europe, who came out with top performance for their respective clubs, as league activities resume on the continent.


In the Pro-Belgian league, Paul Onuachu and Cyriel Dessers were outstanding in the fifteenth match day of the league , as Genk were rampant against Antwerp. In the six goal thriller, Onuachu bagged a brace at the nineteenth and twenty third minutes of the match. Dessers scored at the eighty-eighth minutes.


In another part of the league, Nigeria international, David Okerere was the saviour that saved Club Brugge from the hands of their counterparts, Saint Truiden. Dennis Emmanuel was up for action for the match.


From the Portuguese league, Nigerian left- back, Zaidi Sanusi was on target for Porto against Tondela, helping his team to win in a match that ended 4-3.
In the thirteenth match day of the French league, things went sour for Moses Simon’s Nantes, as they fell before Strasbourg at home, 0-4 it’s ended. Unlike Nantes, Bordeaux snatched victory against Brest where Josh Maja played. Ham Ben Arfa scored the only goal of the match.


In Eredivise, Maduka Okoye and and Tyronne Ebuehi pulled top performances for the clubs, Twente and Sparta Rotterdam. While Twente won the match against Ajax by two goals to one, Rotterdam downed Emmen by two goals to one too.
