Former Paris Saint Germain manager Laurent Blanc who was linked to Nantes job has reportedly turned down the offer.

Since leaving the Parisans on June 22, 2016, the 1998 FIFA World Cup winner has been out of job and has recently voiced out his desire to make a return back to the french ligue 1.

20 Minutes reported that the 55 year-old rejected an offer to become the next manager of Ligue 1 outfit Nantes.

Laurent Blanc got an offer from the Nantes hierarchy on Monday but chose to decline the chance of replacing Christian Gourcuff who got the axe same Monday.

The former Les Bleus gaffer revealed that he’s not convinced by the FCN project, he doesn’t buy the idea of taking charge mid season without full control over the recruitment policy and preparing the team.

Laurent Blanc so far in his coaching career has won a total of fifteen trophies.
