Juventus Head Coach, Andrea Pirlo, that French striker, Olivier Giroud would be welcomed to the Old Ladies if he decides to accept a transfer to the team.

Pirlo said that there’s a possibility that Olivier Giroud may move to Juventus this month as he admitted that the multiple FA Cup winner would be an asset for the Italian giants after having a run of eight goals in his last seven games

The 34 year old’s future with the blues with Frank Lampard preferring Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner ahead of him and considering that there’s Euros this summer he’d not hesitate to depart Stanford Bridge.

Pirlo in an interview with DAZN revealed that he’d not think twice about having Giroud at the Turin based club as he would come in handy for the team.’

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has always been in the news since the start of the 2020/2021 season with reports linking him with a move away from west London.

Premier League side West Ham United as at last month were linked with Giroud.

Sportsmail revealed that the french man had taken his foot off the transfer pedal after being given more of a run out by Lampard.

Giroud after having conversations with Les Blues gaffer Didier Deschamps said that he’s left with no option than to consider a move away from Chelsea.

‘We had a conversation and he said if the situation stayed like that, you will have to take a decision in January,’ said Giroud. ‘But now I am a happy man and proud to be a Chelsea player.’

Pirlo further went on to reveal his intentions on beefing up his attacking prowess.

He continued: ‘The window opens tomorrow, we already discussed with the club what we want to do and if there are any opportunities. Maybe a striker that can rotate with our strikers.’
