Spanish Midfielder, Dani Ceballos has revealed that he’d not be making a permanent move to the Emirates this summer as he’s set to make a return to Madrid.
The Arsenal No.8 has admitted that he wants to make his mark with the Los Blancos in the Spanish La Liga and hopes he cements his spot at Real Madrid once his loan spell with the Gunners expires at the end of the season.
Ceballos in an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena SER was asked about the scuffle that occurred between him and David Luiz and he replied saying it was a “collision”.
The former Bestis Man also declared declared his love for Mikel Arteta’s tactics.
“My goal one day is to return to Real Madrid and be important in the best club in the world,” he said, while also declaring that he will return to his former team Real Betis “one day” as he still has an affection for the club’s supporters.
“Mikel is a coach who suits me like a glove because he played in the same position as me. He wants us to play forward when we steal [the ball]”, he said.
“The Premier League is a bit below at a tactical level but it is more physical. The position of 8 is the one that suits me best.”
