French Ligue 1 outfit, Olympique Lyon, have reportedly finalized plans to sign Paul Onuachu from Genk.

Paul has been in impressive form this season with him scoring 19 goals for Genk.

The 26 year old’s transfer talks to Lyon isn’t coming as a shock as their striker has also left for the Spanish La Liga.

Moussa Dembele left for Athletico Madrid earlier this week and now Paul is coming to fill in his shoes.

A reliable source told he’s emptied his locker in the Genk dressing room.

Lyon want Onuachu for the long-term and have made a formal offer for him in the January transfer window instead of waiting until the summer transfer window.

The former Midtjylland man has a contract with Genk until June 2024. The Blue-White will only entertain offers north of €15m for the lanky forward.

When this moves becomes official, it’d pave way for his compatriot Cyril Dessers to fill in his shoes.
