Reading Midfielder, Michael Olsie, has rejected the opportunity to team up with the Super Eagles in the march AFCON qualifiers.

The 19 year old has openly confessed his love for the Les Bleus and he has committed his future France ahead of three other nations.

Michael is spoilt with the options, with him being eligible to turn out for either of Nigeria, England, France or Algeria.

He was born in England to a Nigerian father and a French mother who has roots in Algeria.

He’s part of the U18 set up of the french national team, having played for the team at the Toulon festival.

“It’s France for me, for the sake of continuity. It’s true that I’ve other options and you never know what will happen in the future. It’s a straightforward decision now.” Olise revealed to the french outlet.

Richard Olise who’s the younger brother of Michael represents the English national team youth set up.
