Leicester City and Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, is having talks with German side RB Leipzig over a potential loan move.
The 23 year old has always played second fiddle to Jamie Vardy who is seen as a better option than the Nigerian.
German news outlet, Sports Bild, reported that RB Leipzig are in the
market for a center forward with Yousouf Poulsen and Alexander Sorloth not producing the much needed performance in front of goal.
“They wanted to sign him in the summer but Leicester weren’t open to a deal. It’s a lot positive now and talks have been held but nothing has really happened yet” a close source to his intermediary told owngoalnigeria.
Bild reported that RB Leipzig have also shortlisted Liverpool’s Divock Origi and Kasper Dolberg of OGC Nice.
