Real Madrid and La Roja skipper Sergio Ramos has revealed he favors a move to Manchester United over any other team.

Ramos’ contract situation is being monitored by a host of clubs as both parties (Real Madrid and Ramos) are finding it hard to come to an agreement over the terms of his new contract.

The 34 year old could have joined the Red Devils in 2015 but he ended up renewing his contract with the Los Blancos and went on to win three UCL titles, a La Liga title and some other silverwares..

Ramos has less than six months left on his current contract and would be available in the market for free.

The 13 time winners of the UEFA Champions League are not willing to give in to Ramos’ contract request as they consider it as unwise.

English news outlet The Mirror reports that Ramos would like a move to United, having had the club endorsed to him by David Beckham.

Beckham who was a teammate with Ramos while he played for Real Madrid between 2005-2007 spoke to the Spanish international all about the Red Devils.

As it stands now, United are favorite to land the veteran center half pushing rivals Liverpool, Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain further behind in the race.
