Benin Republic forward, Razak Omotoyossi is of the belief that the Squirrels of Benin will defeat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier matchday 5.

In the reverse fixture which was held at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Gernot Rohr’s men came from behind to win the encounter 2-1.

As things stand, Nigeria are well placed to make it to the finals of the AFCON barring any complacency. The three-time African champions are top of Group L with Eight points while Benin sit second on seven points.

Footballlive had an interview session with Abdulrazak Omotoyossi and he revealed that he’s confident of his team defeating their neighbors.

“I believe Benin will win 2-0, but you must tell Mr. Musa (Ahmed) to prepare the team, as the captain.

“Nigeria won the reverse fixture, the Super Eagles picking up a 2-1 victory in Uyo.

“It’ll be my dream to play for a bigger team and move to a team where I can play even in in the European competition.”

Omotoyossi is a Nigerian but has roots in Benin republic also which enabled him to switch allegiance from Nigeria to Benin.
