2019 AFROBASKET MVP Ezinne Kalu has said each time she plays against the United State of America Basketball team, she always wants to make a statement.
The Landerneau BB Point Guard, in an Instagram live session with Basketball Pundit Kenny Bamidele, reiterated her desire to play in the WNBA, but stretch that quality performance against the USA will prove she has what it takes to play in the Womens National Basketball Association.
Responding to question asked on why she had a very good game against USA in the FIBA World Cup, Ezinne said,
“I think that it was important that I do play really well, against United States, because I have been playing overseas for the last 6 years now, one of my goals have always been to play in the WNBA, wether is now, or wether is the future it doesn’t really matter, every time I play against USA I always want to make a statement, that I belong to those guys on the floor, plus competing with those guys in the WNBA, that is why each time I play against them I give my 110 percent.”
Earlier on in the chat the aforementioned Dtigress of Nigeria player mentioned that she give her best against all teams she play against.
Dtigress of Nigeria were drawn against France, Japan and USA in thesame group for the basketball event of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
