Landerneau BB and D’Tigress point-guard, Ezinne Kalu has emerged as one of the “100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria” in 2021.

Leading Ladies Africa are the ones who made the list and it aims at celebrating the influence and contributions of Nigerian women in their various fields like politics, arts, sports, advocacy, media, fashion, business and many other sectors.

This year’s list has notable names like BB NAIJA lockdown version star Erica and Ends are campaigners Aisha Yesufu and DJ Switch.

The list in full: Aisha Yesufu, Erica Nlewedim, FK Abudu, Fade Ogunro, Damilola Oke, Mercy Abang, Nancy Umeh, Nicole Asinugo, Nneka Onyeali Ikpe, Obianuju Catherine Udeh (DJ Switch), Regina Askia-Williams, Oluwabukunmi Oyebisi Adeaga-Ilori (Kie Kie), Rinu Oduala, Sofiyat Ibrahim (Oddity) and Toyin Abraham.

Ezinne Kalu was part of the Nigerian team that got to the quater finals of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in 2018.

The point guard also emerged as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the 2019 Women’s AfroBasket Championship.

Asides sports Ezinne is a model and an entrepreneur.

She owns a cosmetics store named Kalu Kosmetics and it aims to give ladies the latest cosmetic trends and create new one that would showcase African beauty.
