Chelsea center half Thiago Silva has revealed that Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino is the most-difficult opponent.

Thiago arrived Stamford Bridge at the beginning of this campaign after spending eight years with French giants Paris Saint Germain.

The 93 cap defender still believes he can play for a longer period of time despite his age.

Silva who has had a brilliant career opines that Roberto Firminio is the toughest opponent he’s ever faced.

The 29-year-old’s displays for Liverpool have come under scrutiny in recent times with the centre-forward netting once in his last 16 games but Thiago has no doubts over his quality.

When asked who his most difficult opponent is, Team Talk quote Thiago as telling Chelsea TV: “Firmino, he has incredible technical quality.

“He is very intelligent in his movements [on the pitch] that leaves defenders a bit lost.” Thiago told Chelsea TV

The 36 year old has played for Chelsea 21 times this season.
