Ike Ireogbu began life with Rouen Metropole of France on an impressive note as they beat Paris 89-84 on Friday, in one of the games played in the France Pro b Basketball League.

The Dtigers of Nigeria Point Guard scored a game-high 27 points in his first game for the club. Zimmy Nwogbo who also have the Nigerian blood in him, added 24points as Steven Amin registered a double-double 14 points 11 rebounds, ensuring Rouen bounce back from a 70-57 loss to Ada Blois.

It will be recalled that Ireogbu joined Rouen Metropole a week ago, kicking of his first game with the club with a match-winning performance.

The 6’2 Guard who should be on board for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Basketball event with the National Team, have proven to be a prolific scorer, both for clubside and National team.

Ireogbu is one of the most efficient player for the Nigerian Male Basketball Team, averaging 13.5 Point Per Game.

He was part of the team that ensured Dtigers of Nigeria seal a spot in the AFROBASKET Championship after an unblemish run during the Qualifiers.

Rouen Metropole will next play Quimper as Ike Ireogbu will be hoping to continue his mesmerizing display with the team.
