Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is skeptical about a return to the premier league after he’s been linked with a transfer back to Chelsea.

The Telegraph cllaims that the Blues will be spending big this summer as they look forward to making the Red Devil making a return to Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku isn’t the option A for Thomas Tuchel’s side as they prefer Erling Halland to the Nerazzuri forward but Romelu Lukaku is the most viable option.

Though if Chelsea submit a bid of about €180million (£150m), it’d will be enough to price the the Norwegian out of Borrusia Park.

Despite Chelsea’s interest, it does not seem like the 27-year-old will consider a return to the Premier League after having spells with Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Manchester United.

In a Q&A session on Twitter last year April, Lukaku was asked: “Will you ever play in the Premier league again & will it be back at Everton?”

He responded by saying: “I don’t think so but I loved my time at Everton for real.”

Lukaku with his response however cast doubt on the possibility of him returning to the Premier League.

The Belgian of Congolese decent joined Chelsea as a teenager about a decade ago but wasn’t afforded time to prove his talent and so he was sold out to Everton in the summer of 2014 before teaming up with United in 2017.
