Anglo Nigerian forward Folarin Balogun is reportedly set to sign a four year contract with Arsenal football club.
The 19-year-old has a contract that expires this summer and is free to leave if he doesn’t get a contract with the gunners.
Arsenal have always maintained they wanted to keep hold of the talented striker and help him develop into a first-team star, and rejected Sheffield United’s bid for the Super Eagles eligible last summer was rejected with Arsenal keen to keep the youngster beyond summer.
Balogun’s contract issue could have been resolved a long time ago but the Hale End Academy product needed to be assured of a first team role and now it seems he’s gotten what he wanted.
The Athletic reports that he has agreed terms with Arsenal and will sign a new contract very soon.
The goal poacher since making his debut for Mike Arteta’s men this season has made five appearances, , scoring twice in Europa League games against Molde and Dundalk.
