Super Eagles and Crotone forward, Simy Nwankwo, has reacted to the rumors linking away from Stadio Ezio Scida saying he’s proud to be part of FC Crotone.

Simy is in the best run of form of his life with him netting 15 league goals for crotone in the Serie A this term in the process breaking the record set by Obafemi Martins.

Despite the lanky forward’s goals the Sharks of Calabria are however condemned for relegation but it doesn’t seem he’d going down with them once more.

Simy is been linked with a summer move to modest teams in Italy and Genoa are amongst his suitors in the Serie A.

The Nigerian has however reacted to the links with him saying he feels at home despite the league status of Crotone.
“It’s not something that interests me, I’m a Crotone player and I’m very proud of that.

“I’ve been here for five years, from the first moment I felt at home and I can’t think of anything else.

“I have a contract with Crotone, I am calm and I am very happy to be part of this club” Simy told Tuttomercatoweb.com
