Orleans of France may be having a disappointing form lately, but one man that has been churning out incredible Individual display for the French outfit, Chima Moneke has said he hopes to part of the Olympics squad, if he is picked.
The Nigerian international stats are compelling, he is averaging close to a double-double in his last three games for orleans, 19.3 Point Per Game 9 Rebounds Per Game.
In a chat with Sports Journalist Babatunde Ojora, the player said, if he is picked he is ready to represent the country.
“If I’m picked for the Olympics I am sure we will go there and compete regardless of who we play against”.
The aforesaid France-based Basketball player, played his first three games with the Nigeria National team two months ago, averaging 6 PPG with an average of 16.3 mins played.
Despite his impressive individual form, Chima said he is unbothered by points scored, only unhappy with the club’s form, but reiterates they will bounce back.
“don’t like losing but it is what it is. Points don’t really matter to me if we lose but I am sure we will bounce back from this.”
Chima joined Orleans this season from div 2 outfit Quimper.
