Nigeria and FC Crotone’s all-time Serie A top scorer Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo has revealed that he was disappointed after Cristiano Ronaldo turned down his offer to swap shirts.
Simy requested for the four time Ballon d’Or winner’s jersey after the Serie A encounter between FC Crotone and the Old Ladies this season but the Portugesse instead handed it to his compatriot Pedro Pereira.
Simy is having a stellar season personally with him scoring 19 league goals but his team aren’t having a spectacular season as they’ve been relegated to the Serie B.
The Super Eagles striker also revealed that he dreams of having the shirts of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
“I tried to exchange the shirt with Cristiano Ronaldo , but he gave it to Pedro Pereira who is Portuguese like him.” Simy told SportWeek,
The Crotone marksman continued : “I would like those of Messi and Lewandowski “.
