Premier league side, Everton , are weighing up a move for FC Barcelona youngster Ronald Arajuo.

The Toffees are in the hunt for a new center half due to Colombian Yerry Mina wanting to leave Goodison Park this summer.

The Toffees have seen Ben Godfrey shine this season, but Mason Holgate’s error against Aston Villa on Saturday suggests another option may be needed.

According to The Sun Yerry Mina has asked for a transfer out of Everton and Italy seems to be his preferred destination.

Fabrizio Romano has however taken to Twitter to reveal that Everton are keen to sign Ronald this summer.

Romano says that the Mersyside giants are going all out for a centre back, but aren’t in talks for Juventus ace Merih Demiral and Everton aren’t even pursuing as earlier rumoured.

The transfer insider claims that Everton want Ronald Araujo, but the La Liga giants simply don’t want to sell.

The 22 year old joined Barcelona from Boston River in 2018, and he has made 29 first-team appearances this season.

The Uruguayan has a ‘great future’ ahead of him according to Ronald Koeman.
