Ruzomberok player Nicole Enabosi thinks D’Tigress of Nigeria can be a big threat to oppositions, going by the pool of talent in the team, Ojbsport reports.

The Nigerian female Basketball team have intensified preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with two wins in two, against Puerto Rico and world number 6 Serbia, but Enabosi who is elated to join up with the national team for the first time, says potential opponent should begin to worry, in a chat with Sports Journalist Babatunde Ojora.

Speaking after Saturday’s hard-fought win against Serbia, the aforesaid ex-delaware player, believes the team are yet to reach their full potentials with the two wins so far, stating that, some key players could not join the trip due to injuries.

“We are still missing a lot of key players, we have some players who are out with injuries, some players who were unable to make this trip, I think people should be scared, cus you know we are underdogs we have a lot to show, as you can from the games”.

Enabosi who have expressed her elation to be part of such a ‘wonderful’ team, pointed out that perimeter shooting has been one their ‘achiles heel’, but said, the team is working profusely to correct the flaw.

“That is definitely one of our flaws, but we know that we are working hard to correct that, we shoot a lot, it is something that will definitely take timeout to improve, I think with a couple more practices we should be able to improve our three point percent”.

The D’Tigress of Nigeria lost thier final preparatory game in Kotrijk, falling 79-49 to Belgium on Sunday afternoon.
