D’Tigers star Ike Iroegbu has left Rouen Metrople to join ES Chalon Sur, moving from the the French Pro B League to the first division.

Iroegbu played his last game for Rouen on Tuesday when they lost to Lille 65-83, scoring 11 points, in the game.

Since he joined Rouen the guard has been impressive, averaging 20.3 Point Per Game in his last 6 games, setting and a Season-high score against Nancy scoring 32 points.

He was brought in to replace Ryan Harrow.

The Nigerian international has acclimatized to life in France very fast. One popular impression about players joining a new club, is that you will have to give them time to acclimatize. In Ireogbu’s case, no time to acclimatize, in his first game, he hit the ground running scoring a game-high 27 points 8 rebounds, as his side beat Paris 89-84, obviously the best way to start your with a new club.

With the experience grabbed from the French Pro B League, Ike Iroegbu should not have too many issues playing for another French side ES Chalon Sur.
