Clubs are galvanizing thier squad ahead of the new season, Arsenal football club are not left out, as they are preparing a £50m bid for Brighton & Hove Albion Centre-back Ben White, during this summers transfer window.
The 23-year-old White enjoyed what was an impressive 2020-21 campaign with Brighton and he was rewarded with a spot in the English national team squad for this summer’s European Championship.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all interested in the CB, but Arsenal are hoping to beat off interest from fellow PL rivals.
Ben White still has three years left to run on his contract with Graham Potter’s side.
However, a recent report claimed that Arsenal were also firmly in the race, and according to The Athletic, the Gunners are now preparing a bid for his services.
The report claims that the North London club could potentially do a deal at £40m, but Mikel Arteta’s side would be willing to go as high as £50m due to their interest in the defender.
