While it looks like Achraf Hakimi will be joining Chelsea football club some days ago, that move has taken a different twist.
French Ligue 1 runners-up, Paris Saint Germain have entered race for the Morroccan international, and reports claims that, the French outfit are leading the race.
Achraf Hakimi won the Scudetto with Inter Milan, but may possibly embrace a new challenge as joining any of the two aforesaid clubs won’t be a bad move.
The Morocco international has affirmed in the past that he is happy with the Serie A champions, but speculation over a move elsewhere persists nonetheless.
Meanwhile, with Inter immediately rejecting offer from UCL defending Champions, Chelsea offer, Foot Mercato now claims that PSG are readying a €70m (£60m) bid for Hakimi, but Chelsea are not prepared to give up easily.
Hakimi ended a triumphant 2020-21 campaign with seven goals and 10 assists from 37 Serie A appearances, and his existing deal at San Siro does not expire until June 2025.
