Manchester United have debunks claims that they are interested in signing departed Real Madrid and Spain legend, Sergio Ramos.

Immediately Ramos announced that he was going to leave the Bernabeu, Clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City showed interest to bring the Spaniard to the Premier League, but recent report suggest, the former is now interested.

However, according to ESPN, as things stand, the 20-time English champions are not interested in bringing the former Sevilla youngster to the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side continue to be strongly linked with Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, although Ramos’s exit will seemingly make it difficult for Man United to sign the Frenchman this summer.

The Red Devils are thought to be keen to bring a new centre-back to Old Trafford in the current market due to Victor Lindelof’s difficulties during the 2020-21 campaign.

Ramos has also been linked with a switch to Manchester City, but a recent report claimed that the reigning Premier League champions are not interested in the defender, who was controversially left out of the Spain squad for this summer’s European Championship.
