Brilliant Spain defeated Croatia at the ongoing Euro 2020 by 5 goals to 3 in their round of 16 encounter.

Croatia found the back of the net courtesy of Pedri own goal at exactly ’20 minutes into the first half before Sarabia level the score in ’38 minutes action.

Cezar Azplicueta and Torres effort makes it 3 for Spain at the ’57 and ’76 minutes respectively that gave the Spanish side the convincing lead before the Croatian respond with two goals and the match went to extra time after action packed 90 minutes of the game.

Alvaro Morata put the team ahead of Croatia once again with his brilliant strike while the substitute Mikel Oyarzaba seal the much needed victory to make it 5 goals for Spain  at 103′ minutes of action.

However, Spain is now through to the last eight of the competition while they await their next opponent in the upcoming quarter final game.
