Barcelona and Argentina legend Lionel Messi has become Argentina’s all-time record appearance with his 148th cap for his country, and he marked the occasion in style with a vintage Messi performance.
He also became the first player in history to record 40 Goals + Assists in Major International Tournaments with 18 Goals and 22 Assists.
Argentina defeated Bolivia 4- 1 ,which makes them Group A winners and they will go on to face Ecuador in the quarter-Finals .
Argentina dominated from the start , and it took just six minutes into the game to break down the Bolivian defense thanks to a wonderful assist from Messi and a great finish by Papu Gómez.

Argentina went through with 10 points from four games.Ecuador is up next in the quarterfinals next Saturday, and Argentina will be big favorites to advance to the semis.
