Nigerian international, Kadiri Attah netted a consolation goal for Lomell FC in their 2-1 loss to Beeeschot VA in a preseason friendly game.

Belgian Division 2 side Lomell FC began preparation for the coming 2021/22 season with a friendly contest against Jupiler Pro League outfit Beerschot VA which ended in favour of the latter, much applause to Raphael Holzhauser and Thibault De Smet 8th minute and 69th minute strike respectively that sealed the deal for Beerschot VA.

But Lomell FC were given something to cheer up deep into the final segment of the game as Nigeria Kadiri Attah’s impressive display in the match culminated when the striker provided a consolation goal for the team. With 17 minutes left on the clock, a promising attacking play from Lomell FC opened up spaces at the right flank to give room for a long cross into the danger area — well-placed, calm and composed, John Kadiri Attah directed a powerful header beyond goalkeeper Vanhammel’s reach.

The 21-year-old who recorded 3 goals in 24 appearances for the Belgian side last campaign will look to improve his previous season’s productivity in the soon-to-begin 2021/22 season and his goal against Beerschot VA in the preseason friendly is a manifestation of the player’s determination of a pursuit for a blissful outing next season.
