Amiens SC loanee Tolu Arokodare begins to make his mark at his new club as he opened the scoresheet in Amiens SC 2-1 victory over KV Oostende.

The Nigerian striker who is on a 2-year loan with the French outfit Amiens SC from Latvian side Valmiera scored his first goal for the club at the half hour mark after rising highest to guide a sublime corner into the far post — a goal that inspired them into claiming a 2-1 victory against KV Oostende.

Amiens SC secured their second victory of the preseason tour following the triumph against KV Oostende, much thanks to Tolu Arokodare’s 30th minute strike before Arnaud Lusamba doubled the tally on the hour mark. But with time ebbing away, KV Oostende halved the deficit courtesy of Gueye last minute strike.

Having been offered a chance at success in France following his disappointing stint in Germany with Cologne FC, the 20-year-old’s goal in his debutant game for Amiens SC shows his determination to change his fortune.
