Legendary Cameroonian goal tender, Carlos Kameni, has been involved in a ghastly road accident as one of the vehicles of his convoy left the track towards Tonga, in the west of Cameroon, causing the death of a pedestrian crossing the road.
According to reports gained from his relatives, the former Malaga goalkeeper and his family are out of danger.
The convoy of the Cameroonian was involved in a traffic accident yesterday which was Friday, in the evening on their way to Tonga (Western Cameroon).
One of the vehicles accompanying his own car made an exit from the track, unfortunately resulting in the death of a pedestrian crossing the road, Ndiki Nicodème.
His corpse was however taken immediately to the morgue at Bangangté Hospital.

“Carlos is obviously upset by this accident which cost the life of a man, a human being. It’s very sad, ”says one of his relatives quoted by the Camfoot site.
The 37-year-old is currently without a club after his release from Turkish giants Fenerbahçe in 2019 and since then he has been in Cameroon.
The 74 Cap Indomitable Lion played a pivotal role in Cameroon’s triumph at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
He participated with Cameroon in the 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2019 editions of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Espanyol star also represented Cameroon in the 2002, 2010 and 2014 editions of the FIFA World Cup.
