Nigeria Tolu Arokodare continues to hit the ground running at his new club Amiens SC in France after he recorded his second goal of the preseason campaign for Amiens in a 4-3 loss to Union St. Gillioise.

The Nigerian striker, who scored a header in the French outfit’s previous outing against Oostende FC replicated same in the encounter against Union St. Gilloise after dumping a thunderous header into the left angle of the goalpost courtesy of an in-swinging corner from the right flank in the 67th minute to restore parity with the final quarter of the game approaching.

But that would not demoralize the Belgian side Gilloise and in the 84the minute, Vanzeir responded; scoring his second of the game and the 4th goal to ensure victory over Amiens SC.

A game well dominated by Gilloise, grabbing two early goals in the first half in the space of 30 minutes thanks to Vanzeir and Lynen 4th minute and 26the minute respectively. Diakhaby halved the deficit for Amiens shortly before the half time period. No sooner had the game restarted from the break than Undav stretched the lead to 3-1 but on the hour mark, Fofana slotted home Amiens second of the game.

Trailing by a goal, French side Amiens were full of optimism struggling to get back into the game. 7 minutes later, Nigerian international Tolu Arokodare equalled the tally. Albeit that will last for only 17 minutes as Vanzeir doubled his goal tally in the contest when he netted the 4th goal for Union St. Gilloise.
