Turkish minnows,Fatih Karagümrük, have beaten Galatasaray and Besiktas to the signing of Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa.

The Nigerian international is making a return to Europe after three years away with him signing a contract that would see him play in the Turkish Super Lig next term.

Fatih Karagümrük have completed the signing of Ahmed Musa on a free transfer with the club planning his official announcement. Fotomac revealed.

Musa joins the Instabul based club as a free agent despite playing for his hometown club Kano Pillars for about three months after he left Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr last October.

Fatih Karagümrük finished 8th in the Turkish Super Lig last season and have notable names like former Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Vivian, former Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia and Italian forward Fabio Borini.

The 28-year-old has played in the Netherlands with him representing VV Venlo, he also turned superstar for Russian giants CSKA Moscow before moving to Leicester City in 2016 for a then club-record transfer fee.

Musa has won eight titles for both club and country in his career with him having three Russian Premier League titles, one Russian Cup, two Russian Super Cups, one Saudi League title with Al Nassr and the AFCON 2013 trophy with Nigeria.

The most capped Super Eagle player of all time record is held by Joseph Yobo and Vincent Enyeama with the men racking up to 101 caps. Ahmed Musa has 98-cap for the Nigerian national team and would be looking to break that record in subsequent matches.
