Nigerian international Moses Simon and Terem Moffir locked horns together when they featured in a preseason friendly contest for French sides Nantes and Lorient respectively — a match that went in favour of Lorient.
Samuel Loric’s 80th minute strike sealed the victory for Lorient against Nantes at Stade de la Beaujoire stadium, Nantes, France.
With the contest entering into it later stages, Lorient surged forward for an opener which later arrived courtesy of Denis Petric who gifted the ball away in Nantes danger area only for Samuel Loric to capitalize on the gaffe to hand Lorient the lead — a goal that proved to be the decider of the match.
Nigeria Moses Simon and Terem Moffi started off the bench and were brought on in the 67th minute for Nantes and Lorient respectively, but there was only little time for the attackers to make their mark.
It all ended 1-0 and Nantes have now rounded up their preseason campaign to begin preparations for their opening league game on the 6th August when they face AS Monaco.
While Lorient still have to battle Angers in their final preseason outing before facing their league action which commences when the visit St.Etienne on the 8th August.
