Nigeria wait for medals continue at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics as Tobiloba Amusan finished 4th in the women’s 100 metres hurdles event. She came behind Jamaican Megan Tapper who sealed 3rd spot.

The finals did not go as planned for Amusan whose start halted her chances of getting a medal, despite fighting back. Camacho-Quinn grabbed a Gold medal for Puerto Rico with Kendra Keni Harrison settling for Silver.

She was on the verge of becoming the first Nigerian to clinch an Olympics medal for Nigeria in 100m hurdles after Gloria Alozie won Gold in Sydney 2000.
