Jack Grealish has signed a contract with Manchester City ahead of his record-breaking move to the Etihad Stadium, according to reports.

The 25-year-old is poised to become the most expensive English player of all time upon joining the newly-crowned Premier League champions for a fee in the region of £100million.

The proposed move is now only subject to a medical after Grealish penned a five-year deal with City on Wednesday, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano .

It is claimed that the relevant paperwork has also been signed at club level, with Villa agreeing a nine-figure fee for their prized asset.

Grealish is scheduled to undergo his medical and thrash out the formalities on Thursday morning, after which point his move will be complete.

The England man was reportedly offered a new and improved contract at Villa, who have been desperate to keep hold of their star man.

However, it seems as though he has ultimately decided to go in search of a new challenge under the guidance of Pep Guardiola at City.
