Jalen Brooks and Sonja Basic dropped 18 and 16 points respectively as Serbia women’s Basketball team rolled past China 77-70, to progress to the next round of the women’s basketball semifinals at the Tokyo Olympics.

Ana Dabovic also scored 13 points for Serbia, who will face USA in the Semi Finals on Friday .

The United States women’s Basketball team cruise past rivals Australia 79-55 to setup a showdown with Serbia in the Semi Finals.

Breanna Stewart scored 23 points to lead the U.S. for a comfortable lead from the first quarter, and the seven-time defending champion then never looked back.

In what was the most entertaining game of the round, Japan pulled one of the best comebacks in the history of Basketball in the Olympics, cancelling the Belgian Cat’s lead in the 4th quarter with a sublime 3-point show.

Maki Takada was the star of the show for Japan scoring 19 points plus shooting 73% from the field.

They had 5 players with double figures in the game, Miyazawa led with 21 points.

For Belgium it was not the outcome they wanted, as their players where all emotional after failing to close out the game in the 4th.

Emma Meesseman, who scored 25 points, made two free-throws to give Belgium a 85-83 lead with 37 seconds left on the clock. Machida’s 3-pointer left Belgium no place and Kim Mestdagh missed the last shot.

Japan will slug things out with France in the Semi Finals.

The French national needed a jumper from Marine Johannes with about 23 seconds left to put the team ahead and beat Spain 68-64.

Maite Cazorla made a quick basket six seconds later to close it on 65-64, but Spain had to foul to send the Frenchwomen onto the line. France buried half of the following four free-throws, which were enough for the win
