The assistant coach for Golden State Warriors who doubles as the head coach of Nigeria Men’s Basketball team, Mike Brown has confirmed that he will be in charge of the team at the Afrobasket Championship that will commence in about two weeks time in Kigali, Rwanda.

The former NBA Champion, led the D’Tigers to the just concluded Tokyo Olympics, where they went 0-3 in the competition, despite high hopes on the team heading to the Mundial.

For Mike Brown it is an unfinished business, setting sights on re-claiming the trophy the D’Tigers won in 2015.

It will be recalled that Nigeria were drawn against Ivory Coast, Kenya and Mali in Group C.
