Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo shines in Rangers 5-0 rout of Dunfermline in a Scottish cup game played on Friday evening.
After suffering consecutive defeats to Dundee in the Scottish League and 2-1 loss to Malmo FF in a Uefa Champions League play-off game, Rangers bounced back emphatically against lowly-rated Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup.
Aribo who had some mouthwatering dribbles in the encounter provided the assist for the 4th goal with a sumptuous back-heel flick for Roofe, who finished cleanly.
Another Nigerian who has once upon a time reiterated his interest to play for the Super Eagles, Calvin Bassey caused too much problems for Dunfermline defenders, with his pace, trickery and passes.
Bassey was not on the scorers sheet, but he assisted two of the goals scored by Rangers. He assisted the 3rd goal scored by Hagi, with a superb in-swinger from the left hand flank, leaving the latter to nod the ball into the back of the net.
Up next for Rangers is an Europa League play-off game against Alashkert of Armenia.
