Liverpool will have themselves to blame for sharing the spoils with Chelsea at Anfield, despite seeing the latter’s Reece James get a red card in the first half.

A superb header from Kai Havertz put Chelsea in front, but Mohammed Salah levelled the scoreline at the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot, after Reece James was caught handling the ball in front of goal.

Both teams entered the game undefeated, with same goals and same points amassed in the first two games. Chelsea caused Liverpool loads of problems in the first-half and despite been a man down they perfectly neutralize Liverpool fire power all through the Second half.

The Reds had 14 attempts on goal with 6 of those on target, but none found the back of the net.

Up next for Liverpool is a game against Marcelo Bielsa Leeds side.
