Barcelona’s Memphis Depay scored for the second consecutive Laliga games in a row, to give his side a 2-1 win at home over Getafe on Sunday at the Nou Camp.
Sergi Roberto Carnicer put Barca ahead in the second minute, sliding in to meet a Jordi Alba cross after a flowing team move. Sandro Ramirez pulled Getafe level in the 19th minute after Sergio Busquets lost possession in his own half, making it Getafe’s first goal of the season. Ramirez fired a low shot past Marc-Andre ter Stegen following a neat interchange with Carles Alena.
The Catalans looked rattled for a moment but restored their lead on the half-hour mark when Frenkie de Jong assisted Memphis Depay, and the forward bewildered the visiting keeper; David Soria with an early strike which crawled into the post.
The defeat means Getafe are still chasing their first point of the season. Why Barça move to the fourth position in the Laliga standings.
