One of Nigeria’s top performer at the ongoing 2021 Afrobasket Championship in Kigali Rwanda, Ben Emelogu has sealed a move to French Pro B side, Rouen metropole, after half a year without playing club Basketball.

The point guard confirmed the move on his official Twitter account, on Wednesday, days after D’Tigers of Nigeria were thrown out of the competition. He averaged 10.3 Point per game 4.5 rebounds per game, in Kigali.

An athletic and skillful player, Ben Emelogu was unable to express his talent last season due to the health situation and an injury in Russia at the start of the championship.

Emeritus defender and team player, he arrives at RMB to revive and show what he is capable of after a more than promising debut season in the Eurocup with Gdynia.

It will be recalled that the previous season ended in March 2020 for reasons that we all know. The COVID-19 pandemic.
