Super Falcons forward, Desire Oparanozie opened her goal account for the season as her French D1 Arkema side, DFCO Dijon defeated Issy 2-0 in their second league game of the 2021/2022 season.

The team captain provided the assist for Dijon’s first goal when she located Lea Declercq who converted to give Dijon the lead in the 20th minute.

With three points from two game, Dijon are now fifth in position on the league table.

The side will welcome former league and Champions League winners, Lyon on September 12.
