Abigol Football Management has donated the trophy for the forthcoming Chief Onigbinde U-17 Football Tourney.

The football management owned by former Nigeria U-23, Matthew Olorunleke, promised to donate the trophy for the event; the promise has just been fulfilled.

“This is a little support for the living legend and icon, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde for his contribution and support towards the development of football in Nigeria, Africa and the World at large, Olorunleke who is currently the manager of Italian Serie D side GS Bagnolese said.

Born 37 years ago in Gusau, Zamafara state, Nigeria, Olorunleke played all his professional career in Italy starting with GS Bagnolese before playing for the likes of Reggiana, Messina, Nocerina, Juve Stabia, Rovigo.

He would retire from football in 2011 at GS Bagnolese before been named the head coach of the club in 2012.

The maiden edition of the Chief Onigbinde tournament is set to hold from 20th – 31st October in Ibadan, Oyo State.
