As we the Ben Simmons controversies lingers, the Philadelphia 76ers continue to deal with the predicament.

Based on the latest updates, it appears Philly wants to send the 25-year-old to a Western Conference team.

There are several teams out West who have been linked to the former top pick. But the problem is most have practically given up, unwilling to heed to the demands of the Sixers.

The list of teams that have been at one time linked with Simmons is the Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers.

However, none of those teams are willing to give up their main stars for the three-time All-Star.

For the Warriors, the name of Andrew Wiggins has been linked to Simmons in the past. But the problem there is they do not want to add sophomore James Wiseman.

The same holds for Minnesota. They are unlikely to deal Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards in any deal.

D’Angelo Russell could make sense although the other assets included remain in question.

A sensible trade would have been with Portland. The best package that the Trail Blazers may offer could be CJ McCollum and Robert Covington with future picks.

In all, none of the aforementioned teams are willing to give up their stars for Simmons.
